Musa Hitomi is an actor, singer and dancer/choreographer based in NYC. Originally from Tokyo, Japan. Musa spent five years as a member of the SHIKI theatre Company. She played Martha in the first Japanese production of Spring Awakening, directed by Broadway veteran JoAnn M Hunter. As a member of SHIKI, her credits included CATS(Jemima), West Side Story(Francisca) and Mamma Mia. She participated in about 1000 performances with the company.

Since moving to New York City in 2013, she has performed in numerous regional productions including A Chorus Line(Connie), Avenue Q(Christmas Eve), ChicagoMiss Saigon, ElfWhite Christmas, and The Little Mermaid. In 2019, she went on a national tour with A Charlie Brown Christmas as Snoopy.

 

Musa is known for her dynamic expression, versatility, and passionate dedication to her craft. She has also worked as a choreographer for Gilgamesh: A Musical Epic, produced by Invisible Wall Productions.

 

Aside from musical theatre, Musa is a lover of trees and nature, and relishes the chance to work in productions that take her to new places where she can explore the great outdoors. She loves to cook and host dinners and is known amongst her friends and colleagues for her positivity and sunny disposition.
